Abu Koroma, 16-year-old, Osman Bangura, Abubakar Kargbo, Ibrahim David Kanu,Abdul and Karim Kamara made their first appearance before Magistrate Sahr Kekura of the Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown. 

The accused persons were before the court on two count charges of unlawful assembly contrary to law and riotous conduct contrary to Section 12(a) of the Public Order Act No.4 of 1965, as repealed and replaced by Section 12(a) of Act No.5 of 1973.

It was alleged that the accused persons on Saturday, 26th March, 2022, at Kissy Village, Lower Koya Chiefdom,North East Region of Sierra Leone, were found behaving riotously.

Concord Times reports that After the files were read to them, the accused pleaded not guilty of all charges.

Magistrate Kekura remanded the accused persons and adjourned the matter to April, 2022.
