A fisherman of Tombo and Fogbo communities, has been arrested and detained at the Waterloo Police Station after he confessed to the Head Man of Makomba village, Saidu Bangura, via Newton, that two weeks ago, at midnight, opposite Café Downtown Night Club, Waterloo, he stabbed one Mohamed of Morabi community, Waterloo, whom he learnt had passed away from the said stab wounds.
Ali Bangura, 46, told the police that the stabbing of Mohamed was in retaliation of a 36-stitch wound inflicted on him by the said Mohamed some four (4) years ago at the same spot in respect of a dispute over a prostitute.
In view of the foregoing, Police of Waterloo Division is appealing to members of the public to provide useful information to aid in the said investigation.
