The Local Unit Commander, Chief Superintendent of Police, Michael JK Lagga of the Mile 91 Police Division and his team have ensured the Northern town of Mile 91 remain peaceful and resident continue with their normal  business activities .

Earlier today, June 19th 2024, the Mile 91 main junction was seen empty with a majority of the shops and business centers closed.

However,  Police officer, CSP Lagga organized a peace match with a section of members of the community and the Sierra Leone Police seen in white dress calling on the residents to ignore any call for violence.

As the day goes, a majority of the shops and business centers have opened  followed by  Bike Riders plying the central buisess town with Passengers.

 

There are police presence in most strategic points in the towns  to ensure the safety of all Residents in the town.

In order to ensure there’s peace and security, police have placed a musical set at the Mile 91 main junction. Music of hope, peace and tranquility were heard playing which showcased the police readiness to protect the lives and properties of citizens.
