The Ministry of Labour and Social Security in a press release stated that they will embark on a nationwide inspection of all establishments/ industries and workplaces from Wednesday, 6th September to Friday, 15 September, 2023.

The Labour Ministry said the inspection will address compliance with Labor laws in reference to gender equality in workplaces, occupational safety and health, industrial relations, wages and remuneration and work permits for foreign and expatriate staff.

They stated that the exercise will be in line with the principle of the Ministry’s mandate to implement employment and labor market policies.
