The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development has ended a day consultation with the western area rural district council on the need assessment and shaping the MTNDP2023-2030.

The engagement was held at the Waterloo District Council, which was focus at identifying and prioritizing district needs, shaping #MTNDP2024-2030 that is in line with the SDGs and AU 2063 Agenda.

It was reported that the 7-year plan integrates the Government’s Big Five Game Changers and Four Enablers mirroring national priorities.

The Ministry collaborated with the Bi-Monthly Districts Development Coordination Committees (DDCC) platform, supported by the Government and the World Bank’s Accountable Governance for Basic Service Delivery Project, institutionalized at every council.
