A Sierra Leonean who based at United State of America has continued to rendered more services to less privilege within the Freetown minicipality.
In his passion to extend helping hands to the less privileged in society, especially children living with disabilities in the country, one of sierra Leone’s outstanding islamic scholar, philanthropist, sheik mohamed omodu kamara has been donating to less privilege and places of worship in some communities areas, financially, food and non-food items to deprived communities.
With an exclusive interviewed with sheik mohamed kamara commonly known as money jagaban, who revealed to this medium that he is doing so in memory of his parents who use to host vulnerable children in their community. He expressed delight to undertake such a donation’s as the development of citizens in the country especially children living with disabilities.
He continued that the event itself is an eye-opener for the girl’s guardians to become aware that regardless of the fact that some of them are living with disability they should consider them very important in society.
In his end up statement that he is doing this by according to the will God Almighty, as part of his contribution towards the promotion of islam in sierra Leone and the world in general, this islamic scholar made recent donation of hundred million leones towards the completion of Dwazark field masjid, which is in progress.
Citizens are also called on other humanitarian organizations and individuals to follow the footsteps of sheik mohamed kamara in order to support less privileged.
The people of malta street eastern part of Freetown also joined the kamara family to extend his heartfelt gratitude to sheik mohamed kamara and all those who supported him and also prayed that more help will comes towards the people of Sierra Leone and beyond.
