The Network Movement for Justice and Development (NMJD) has held a public bid opening for the construction and rehabilitation of three (3) Local Policing Partnership Board offices in three chiefdoms in Kono District.

The Network Movement for Justice and Development (NMJD) was established in 1988 which operates as a national human rights-oriented civil society development and advocacy organization in the country.

The project came about through the strengthening human security that is funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The three chiefdoms set to benefit from the project in Kono District Are, Soa, Kamara and Tankoro Chiefdoms respectively.

NMJD has also rolled out engagement with the Kamara Chiefdom stakeholders on the need for the inclusion of women and PWD’s in the chiefdom council and other development platforms in order to foster inclusive growth.
