The Moyamba District Council, in collaboration with the Ministry of Rural Water, has embarked on a significant initiative to construct and rehabilitate wells across the district.

Construction materials worth millions of Leones have been deployed for this purpose, targeting the construction of five new wells and the rehabilitation of five existing ones in different communities.

He highlighted that the construction and rehabilitation of wells align with the broader Feed Salone Project, recognizing water as a crucial component of food security. Sesay urged community members to ensure the security of the materials provided and to actively monitor the ongoing work.
