On Sunday, March 10, 2024, Sierra Leone national football team striker Musa Noah Kamara, widely recognized as Musa Tombo, generously donated approximately 30 bags of rice to the Muslim community in his hometown of Tombo

Musa is known to have grown up from the Tombo community and his donation is a way of giving back to the community.

Musa’s donation to the Tombo community is said to have been successful through the support he got from a Sierra Leonean female blogger who posted Musa’s request and he was given the support he needed.

The donation from Musa to the Muslims in the community is due to the start of the Holy month of Ramadan where Muslims engage in fasting for 29 or 30 days and it is advisable for people to embark on good deeds.
