This initiative received the endorsement of CSP Sesay, the LUC of Moyamba Division, and the backing of local leaders, including the Mokonde regent chief and community representatives.
During the welcome address, O/C DSP Kamal highlighted the alarming rise in housebreaking and theft since his arrival at the police post in October 2023. Utilizing the SARA (Scan, Analysis, Respond, Assess) method, he reported the successful arrest of seven out of ten suspects responsible for recent crimes, now detained at Moyamba prison, while efforts continue to apprehend the remaining three.
