A fence reportedly collapsed last night in the Mayeima area, opposite the Grafton Bridge, leading to the destruction of three houses.
The incident, which happened in the early hours of Tuesday, has left one person dead and two others injured.
Local sources say the fence broke during the night, crashing into nearby buildings and causing serious damage. Residents in the area were caught by surprise.
Emergency services were called to the scene early this morning. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The identity of the deceased has not yet been made public.
