The Training Directorate has reinstated on-the-spot coaching exercises for routine duties at police stations and other police formations. This initiative is designed to provide practical, hands-on training to police personnel.
The Head of Training, DSP Alpha Kamara, led the inaugural session of this program at the Congo Cross Police Division on July 5, 2024. During the session, DSP Kamara focused on critical areas such as handling station books, maintaining professionalism, upholding discipline, and exercising command. The goal was to deliver immediate, situational training to improve the competence and efficiency of the officers.
Local Unit Commander (LUC) ACP Dennis Musa Taylor and Support Officer DSP Ibrahim Bah praised the initiative. They highlighted the value of this approach and expressed their eagerness for similar training activities in the future, anticipating significant improvements in police operations and service delivery.
