On Wednesday 26, March 2025, in a significant operation, police officers from the Moyamba Division’s operations department, Moyamba District led by Inspector Edmond Kassay, conducted a raid on the premises of Edward Conteh in Kebbie Town Moyamba town at approximately 5:00 PM.
During the raid, the team seized a substantial quantity of illegal drugs, amounting to 1,047 wraps of Cannabis Sativa (locally known as Jamba). The suspect, Edward Conteh, is currently assisting the police with ongoing investigations into the matter.
Authorities have announced that the case will be forwarded to court as the investigation wraps up. This operation underscores the police’s continued commitment to combat drug-related offenses in the community .
