Two gunmen have reportedly shot a commercial bike rider at Waterloo, the outskirts of Freetown.

According to the Waterloo Police Division Media Team, Ibrahim Sow, a commercial motorbike rider of Mano Corner, Lumpa, Waterloo, is battling for his life at the Intensive Care Unit, Waterloo Government Hospital, after he was allegedly attacked with a shot-gun along Old Motor Road, White Stone, Waterloo, by two men.

“Moments later, the Operations Team of Waterloo Division responded to a crime scene along Old Motor Road, White Stone, Waterloo, where a man (still unknown) suspected to have robbed a commercial motorist was set-ablaze by unknown people,” they added

According to the police, a shot-gun with several cartridges, super glue, and quantity of face masks were found at the scene of crime.

They added that medics have removed four bullets from the abdomen of Ibrahim Sow, the commercial motorists.

“The corpse found at the crime scene is yet to be identified,” the police stated.
