I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the recent actions taken by Hon. Musa Mogua and Dr. Jame Vibbi, which seem to undermine the peaceful electoral process in Kandu Leppiama Chiefdom.
As you are aware, we successfully conducted both the lower-level election and the chiefdom election, with the latter being overseen by the Deputy National Chairman and other national officials of the SLPP party.
We celebrated these events without any conflict, reflecting the will of the majority.
However, it has come to our attention that Dr. Jame Vibbi has submitted a petition letter to the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) questioning the results of these elections.
Following this, we ran the elections again and emerged victorious once more against Jame Vibbie .
Despite this clear mandate from the people, Dr. Jame Vibbi has chosen to file yet another petition regarding the same chiefdom election in Kandu Leppiama.
It is disheartening to witness that Hon.Musa Mogua and Dr. Jame Vibbi appear to be leveraging money and influence to challenge a peaceful election process that was conducted fairly by our national officials.
Their actions not only disrupt the peace we have cultivated over the years but also place undue pressure on our newly elected Chairman, Mr. Siaka Fonie.
Thereafter, why did Hon. Musa Mogua push Jame Vibbie, disturbing the peace of the people in Kandu Leppiama chiefdom while leaving his own chiefdom in a peaceful atmosphere?.
I urge both Hon. Musa Mogua and Dr. Jame Vibbi to reconsider their approach and to respect the democratic process that we have established in Kandu Leppiama Chiefdom. The leadership of our party stands firmly against any attempts to destabilize our community, and we hope for a return to the principles of unity and cooperation that have historically defined our elections.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
Sincerely,
Hon. Aspirant PJ SANNOH CON.11 Kenema District.
