AdvocAid has also revealed that Zainab’s Facebook account has been hacked and has urged the police to ensure that her rights are upheld.

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, Zainab Sheriff was reportedly detained at the Female Correctional Centre in the Special Court Building, although the reason for her arrest is still unclear.

Recently, she gained widespread attention after posting a live video in which she held President Julius Maada Bio and his government accountable for various human rights abuses.
