The Sierra Leone Roads Authority (SLRA) has announced the temporary closure of the Upgun Roundabout-Bai Bureh Road intersection. The closure is scheduled to take place from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 28th, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 30th, 2024.

The SLRA has stated that this closure is necessary to conduct a major maintenance intervention to rehabilitate damaged slabs along the cross drain. This essential work aims to improve the condition and safety of the intersection.

Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use alternative routes during this period to avoid any inconvenience. The SLRA has expressed regret for any disruption this may cause to the public and appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the community during the maintenance period
