Personnel of the Sierra Leone Police attached to the Kissy Ferry Police Post, Dockyard Police Station and the Ross Road Police Division are currently investigating the alleged beating of a three-week-old suckling Mother by the name of Mrs. Bintu Dabor by one Mohamed Turay, an employee of Radisson Blu Hotel.

According to investigations by this medium, Mohamed Turay of 55 Kenseley Road allegedly beat up Mrs. Bintu Dabor in the absence of her husband on a matter stones the victim collected to fill a bad patch along a road in their compound. That matter is still pending at the Court of Sierra Leone.

According to the Police medical report issued out on 17 of January 2022, Mrs. Bintu Dabor allegedly got assaulted by Mohamed Turay by 8:00pm and sustained a swelling on her left jaw and general body pain, a victim with a history of PV Bleeding.

On 18 of January 2022, after treatment at the Rokupa Government Hospital, Mrs. Bintu Dabor had her medical report endorsed by Police officers attached to the Kissy Ferry Police Post. An eyewitness revealed to this reporter that on 17th January, the victim was at her residence bleeding as a result of Mohamed’s beating when two unknow ladies materialized at her place and beat her up mercilessly despite her bleeding condition and her being a young suckling mother.

Fourteen-years-old Abu Bakarr Mansaray who was trying to protect the victim, sustained injuries and was given a medical report by the Family Support Unit at the Dockyard Police Station.

Standard Times Newspaper reports that, Mrs. Bintu Dabor was also issued with another medical report for the alleged assault by two unknown ladies as sisters of Mohamed Turay who continues to boast of having the police in his pocket and enjoys the blessing of ASP Kamara, OPS Officer at the Ross Road Police Division.

Late in the evening of 18 January 2022, the husband of Mrs. Bintu Dabor, Mr Clude Bobor was at home with his children when a team of OSD officers arrived at his house dragged him forcefully and kept him mercilessly and bundled him into a police van half naked. They detained him with his hands in cuff on the directive of ASP Kamara. He spent two days in police cell without the consent of the LUC attached to the Ross Road Police Division.

Report says that a thirteen-years-old girl, the daughter of Mr. Clude Bobor was also slapped by by one of the OSD officers. The Bobor is calling for justice as Mr. Clude Bobor cannot see clearly since his release from detention on the directive of the LUC who expressed hanger when he was notified.
