Sierra Leonean football star Kei Kamara has taken to social media to express his frustration after a toilet seat was stolen from his home, just days after installation.
In a post shared online, Kamara questioned the audacity of the theft and expressed his disappointment over how wrongdoing is often overlooked until the victim takes action.
“How is this even possible? You tiff (steal) toilet seat days after installation… Yes, it sounds funny, but when you wicked, you should get the taste of your medicine,” he wrote.
He further stated that while people often dismiss such incidents as minor, he refuses to ignore the wrongdoing.
“When someone is acting wicked, people will tend to give a blind eye to it, but when I take action, they will say I should ignore because it’s a small thing. I want people to know that was the old me,” Kamara added, emphasizing his intent to hold offenders accountable.
This incident comes just weeks after Kamara was reportedly a victim of theft at his home, where his caretaker allegedly stole $7,000. The back-to-back incidents have raised concerns over security and personal safety for the footballer.
Kamara, a well-respected figure in Sierra Leonean football, concluded his message with a warning: “You commit a crime, you go pay this 2025.”
