Two residents of K-Step, Calaba Town — Mohamed Kamara and Osman Sako — have been taken into police custody after they were allegedly found in possession of free healthcare materials, including HIV test kits, HCV test kits, malaria test kits, and other assorted medical supplies.
The arrest was carried out on Monday, 17th November 2025, at Kabala Park, Peace Market, Ferry Junction, by the Operations Team of the Harbour Police Division, led by ASP Francis Tommy.
Both suspects are currently assisting investigators at the Criminal Investigations Department of the Harbour Police Division, as inquiries continue into how they obtained the government-provided healthcare materials and what they intended to use them for.
