The Sierra Leone Police have arrested two suspects over the alleged missing of Fourah Bay College (FBC) lecturer Kabba Santigie Bangura.

According to an interview conducted by the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), the two suspects were arrested through a covert operation.

The report revealed that according to the police investigation before Bangura went missing, he was repeatedly speaking on the phone with one Abu Fullah who resides at Songo Village, and Saidu Sesay at Main Motor Road, Lumpa, Waterloo.

The suspects were traced by the Police Cyber Unit in Waterloo as contacts of the people Mr. Bangura communicated with before he went missing.

The police is yet to reveal the content of the conversation between Bangura and the two suspects.

Bangura was a lecturer at the Geography Department FBC. He was reported to have gotten missing on the 6th of March 2023 after his family members reported the matter to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Headquarters in Freetown.
