On Wednesday, March 12, 2025, two Sailors at Sea Coach Express, Samuel Benjamin Moiba, and Alfred Abdul Karim Koroma were sent to prison by Magistrate Sahr Keikura of Pademba Road Court No.1 for allegedly stealing from one of their passengers’ items valued at $5,200 US Dollars

The two accused persons, Samuel Benjamin Moiba and Alfred Abdul Karim Koroma made their second appearance and were arraigned on two Count charges of Conspiracy, contrary to Law and Larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916.

According to the case leverage against them the Particulars of Offence on Count One, the Accused persons on Sunday 9th February 2025 at Sir Samuel Lewis Road, Aberdeen, Freetown conspired together with other persons unknown to commit a felony with Larceny.

Due to the Police investigation findings, further inform that allegedly on Count Two the Accused persons on the same date at Sea Coach Express, Aberdeen stole one black color suitcase valued at $150 US dollar, 1 grey co Dell Computer Laptop, a black color A23 Samsung mobile phone and other assorted items all to the total value of $5,200 United States Dollars equivalent to NLe 124,800, property of Doctor Sheriff Emil Whites whilst in the custody of the Management of Sea Coach Express.

When the charges were read and explained to the Accused persons, no plea was taken. Additionally, Inspector Kadie Taylor the Prosecutor requested for an adjournment to call her witnesses.

Magistrate Kekura granted her application and remanded the persons in prison, the matter was adjourned as Inspector Taylor gather witnesses.
