A delegation from the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) has engaged the National Commission for Children (NCC) on partnership exchange.
The representative of the UNICEF, Rudolf Schwenk led the delegation on the engagement with the NCC and the discussion was rolled out on how the partnership can be used to strengthened and improve the lives of children in the country as part of their plans of leaving no child behind.
UNICEF has also extended support to the Ministry of Health and Sanitation (MOHS) in the development and launch of the country’s child survival action plan.
The child survival action plan according to them is part of the national reproductive, maternal, new-born, child, adolescent, and health and nutrition strategy.
