21-year-old Baimba Tarawallie, a resident of Furniture Junction in Mayaemi Garage, Allen Town, Freetown, was discovered lying helplessly in a nearby bush at Russell Village along the Waterloo-Tombo highway.

Unknown assailants had subjected him to a severe beating, leaving multiple lacerations all over his body. Tarawallie’s hands and feet were tied, and he was locked in the trunk of a vehicle before being abandoned in the bush.

After regaining consciousness, Tarawallie managed to seek help and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit at Tombo Health Center in Waterloo, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.

Authorities were alerted to the incident by Paul Gorden, the Head Man of Russell Village, who expressed his determination to support the police in bringing the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice.

Tarawallie revealed that his attackers had left him for dead, underlining the brutality of the assault. Shockingly, during the medical examination, three limes were discovered inside his anus.

A local resident from Waterloo, who wished to remain anonymous, voiced concerns that Waterloo is being unfairly targeted as a dumping ground for bodies from elsewhere, tarnishing the town’s reputation. She fervently hoped that these malevolent individuals would be exposed and face the consequences of their actions.

The incident has sparked outrage and raised questions about the safety and security of the community. Authorities have launched an investigation into the assault and are determined to apprehend those responsible.

As the community awaits justice for Baimba Tarawallie, residents are calling for increased vigilance and cooperation to ensure the safety of all individuals in the Waterloo area.
