In a recent update from the Waterloo Police Division’s security report, on Friday, December 29th, 2023, the Local Unit Police Commander, CSP Mr. Joe Kamanda Bongay, led a team of officers in a successful operation

According to the update, it was revealed that the team successfully arrested a 33-year-old individual, Chernoh Conteh, who hails from Masethleh village in the Yoni Bana chiefdom of Tonkolili District.

Conteh was found in possession of a locally made shotgun and cartridges.

The suspect remains in police custody as investigations continue.
