The Waterloo Police Station’s Traffic Department is currently investigating the tragic death of an unknown driver.
The incident occurred at the Deep-Eye Water junction in Waterloo when the driver collided with a stationary truck, resulting in their unfortunate demise.
During the examination of the victim’s belongings, a black/brown-colored backpack, commonly known as a “pow-pow bag,” was discovered. Inside the bag, several identity cards, including a driver’s license, were found. These cards provide crucial information that may aid in identifying the deceased individual.
To determine the cause of death and gather additional evidence, the body has been transported to the Connaught Hospital mortuary for a thorough post-mortem examination.
