The 10th death anniversary of the late Alhaji Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, former President of Sierra Leone, will be commemorated on May 19, 2024. The event is scheduled to take place at the Bintumani Conference Center, starting at 12 noon. Attendees are requested to adhere to a dress code of white, symbolizing peace and remembrance.

Alhaji Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, who passed away in 2014, served as the President of Sierra Leone from 1996 to 1997 and then again from 1998 to 2007. Kabbah played a pivotal role in negotiating peace agreements and implementing post-war reconstruction and development programs, which were crucial in stabilizing Sierra Leone during a tumultuous period in its history.
