According to the Satellite Newspaper, a stalwart in the main opposition All People’s Congress(APC) Party on Saturday 4th May, 2022 officially wrote to the Chairman of the 21-Man Transition Committee, Alfred Peter Conteh, Petitioning two members of the committee.
The 21-Man Transition Committee was instituted on Friday 13th May, 2022 to mark the end of the old Advisory Committee (NAC), the second highest decision -making body in the APC after the National Delegates conference.
The outgoing National Secretary General, Ambassador Osman Foday Yansaneh handed over the administration of the APC Secretariat to the 21-Man Transition Committee as ordered by the High Court.
Mohamed Christopher Conteh of No.11 Ferry Road, Magburaka, Tonkolili District, who is the petitioner , petitioned Ibrahim P Thorlley and Hon, Aaron Koroma held Positions in the dissolved National Advisory Committee(NAC) that debarred them from being members Is ordered by the court.
Mohamed C. Contest claimed that Ibrahim P. Thorlley has served as the APC election Coordinator for the Northern Region Youth Chairman in the National Youth League.
He added that Ibrahim P Thorlley has served as the APC Election Coordinator for the Nothern Region since 2017 to date, while Hon Aaron Koroma was the APC Northern Region Youth Chairman in the National Youth League.
He added that Ibrahim Tholley is also the Tonkolili District Administrative Officer for the Collection of the APC Voters Data in that district.
The Petitioner Cited Certain sections of Justice Adrian Fisher’s ruling to justify his claims.
The following persons are restrained from by way perpetual injunction whether by themselves, their Sevants, workmen, agents or previews associate or whosoever called from holding themselves out or carrying out part related functions as Executive members of the 3rd Defendant(APC party) with respect by their previous held offices forthwith.
Having justified his claims, the petitioner therefore called on the chairman of the 21-man Transition committee, Alfred Peter Conteh, to carefully look into Justice Adrian fisher’s ruling and take the necessary actions as dictated by the court order
