Following the thwarted coup on November 26th in Sierra Leone, the Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi Esq, speaking on 98.1, disclosed that a total of 57 individuals have been apprehended in connection with the attempted upheaval.

Among those detained are a varied group comprising 37 military personnel, 10 civilians, 4 dismissed soldiers, 5 serving police officers, and 1 retired police officer.
