The World Health Organization (WHO) has applauded the Ministry Of Health And Sanitation in Sierra Leone over health related matters and the preparedness of the ministry to handle issues at different intervals.

This came by as the UPHR has been highly focused by the ministry and according to the minister, Austin Demby, the high point of the Universal Health Preparedness Review (UPHR) in Freetown was the visit of the WHO leadership to president bio.

He referred to the effort and commitment of the president and the ministry as a true champion of readiness for health emergencies and that the WHO did not only applaud them but also asked that, they share their successes with the rest of the world.
