The Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone (ACC-SL), Francis Ben Kaifala, has highlighted Sierra Leone’s significant progress in combating corruption during a presentation at the 6th Annual General Meeting of the Network of Anti-Corruption Institutions in West Africa (NACIWA).

The meeting, which is taking place from August 18th to 21st in Abuja, Nigeria, brought together anti-corruption agencies from across the region to share experiences and best practices.

Kaifala, a former President of NACIWA, shared Sierra Leone’s successes in implementing the ECOWAS Protocol on Corruption and domesticating its provisions into national laws and policies. His presentation offered valuable insights into the country’s anti-corruption efforts.
