The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to today, Wednesday 12th July 2023, present its findings on the over twenty-eight heinous allegations levied against the Vice-Chancellor and Principal of the Milton Margai Technical University Dr. Philip Kanu.

These allegations were levied against Dr. Kanu by some former staff members of the university who were punished for sexually harassing female students in November 2022.

Dr. Kanu was suspended without investigation by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Gibril Cooper but was later reinstated.

The presentation is said to also cover the findings of the review conducted on the systems and procedures of the university.

However, the Vice Chancellor and Principal have been asked not to attend the ceremony as the event will be streamed live to make it accessible to the public.
