The newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of the Sierra Leone Police force, Augustine M. Kailie, has been announced dead.
His sad event is announced to have occurred yesternight, the 28th January, 2024.
Till his demise, the deceased Augustine Kailie, was the Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Prior to his appointment as DIG, he served as Chief of the African Union Multinational Police Force in Somalia where he oversaw the operational planning and security of the then concluded Parliamentary and Presidential elections in the country.
The late man held various command and operational positions in Sierra Leone and held a Bachelor’s degree and a Masters degree in Peace Development Studies from the prestigious Fourah Bay College.
