Alhaji Njai, a distinguished expert in scientific research and public health, has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to serve as part of a core team of scientific experts spearheading key initiatives for the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).

The team will focus on strengthening research governance, coordination, ethics, and prioritization across the continent.

The three-day engagement, held at the Africa CDC Directorate of Science and Innovation, brings together leading professionals and researchers from across Africa. This collaborative effort underscores the organization’s commitment to advancing evidence-based public health policies and addressing the continent’s most pressing health challenges.

Speaking about his involvement, Alhaji Njai expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to contribute to Africa’s public health landscape, working alongside eminent figures such as Dr. Mosoka P. Fallah and other esteemed colleagues.
