Dr. Samura Kamara, the 2023 presidential candidate for the All People’s Congress (APC), has expressed profound condolences to the family, friends, and comrades of the late Shitta Kamara, Chairman of APC Constituency 122.

In a statement released on Sunday, Dr. Kamara described Chairman Shitta Kamara as a dedicated grassroots leader who embodied the principles of servant leadership within the APC. “Chairman Shitta demonstrated strong and dedicated grassroots leadership and taught us the critical importance of servant political leadership,” Dr. Kamara stated.

He highlighted Chairman Shitta’s long-standing commitment to the party, noting his courage, tenacity, and patience, which made him a respected figure in the APC. “For years, he sacrificed and devoted his services to the APC. His courage, tenacity, patience, and incredible posture made him an icon within the APC ranks,” Dr. Kamara said.

Acknowledging the loss as part of the divine will, he added, “Today, he is gone, according to the wishes of Mighty Allah, who gave and has taken away. We shall always remember you in our prayers, Comrade Shitta. May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
