Mrs. Mariatu Kamara, a US based Sierra Leonean, was on Saturday 4 February 2023 elected as vice-president of the Dallas chapter of Sierra Leone’s main opposition party, the All Peoples Congress (APC).

Her opponent was Christian Sesay who later stepped down.

Kamara was the former Secretary of the Dallas chapter of the APC.

She is known for her hard work and fearless activism and support for the APC party, the APC, on her social media handles.
