The All Peoples Congress (APC) Secretary General Alhaji Osman Yansaneh has told Awoko that the 10 objections they received from the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC) have been answered and sent back to them.

He said few weeks ago they received 10 objections from PPRC on their new constitution and they were told to answer to them within two weeks and send the answers to PPRC.

“This we have done within the stipulated time and has sent them back to PPRC who will then send our answers to those that objected. After that PPRC will set a date for them to meet with us so we can discuss and find a lasting solution.”

Alhaji Osman Yansaneh said that they are hoping that the PPRC will set a date soonest, even though there are holidays around the corner, they still hope that they can get on with the matter and get it done very soon so that the party will be able to start proper business.

Awoko reports that the Secretary General averred that they are almost at the finishing line as they hope to put all modalities in place and get their lower level elections as well as the Delegates Conference within the first six months of next year.

“We are appealing to the PPRC to help us get this meeting with those that sent in their odjections soonest, and we also call on our membership and supporters to be patient as the end is in sight. Continue to bear with us and we will start serious business soonest.”

Alhaji Osman Yansaneh said he wants to commend Chairman Bangurah of PPRC for his support and hope that the cordial relationship between them will continue.
