The Member of Parliament representing Constituency 077, Lokomasama Chiefdom, Port Loko District, and Secretary General of Interim Transitional Governance Committee (ITGC), Hon. Abdul Kargbo has, in a recent tweet, stated that the All Peoples Congress (APC) will win the 2023 multi-tier elections irrespective of all the challenges faced by the party.

He said in a tweet “Thank you Port Loko and Makeni for your massive turnout. The closed-door engagements will continue. No amount of political interference will shut the APC down. We are resolved and determined to save the APC. Regarding the judgment, we will welcome it and I know the majority will win.

Democracy makes no room for minorities to govern the majority. We still have confidence in the justice system and we are also confident that it will dispense justice that the majority will appreciate”.

It could be recalled that the APC membership, through its ITGC Secretary-General had earlier called meetings with members of the party in Port Loko and Makeni to update them on the party’s current political issues and the way forward on some of them.

Impeccable sources within the APC membership revealed that the meetings held in Port Loko and Makeni would serve as the pathway to the party’s lower-level elections and subsequently, the National Delegates’ Conference (NDC).
