Ransford Lube-Metzger, a journalist and news anchor for the African Young Voices (AYV) television in Freetown is dead.

Sierraloaded reports that Ransford died after a brief illness on Tuesday.

During his illness, the vibrant Journalist was was admitted at the Choitram Hospital in Freetown before his demise.

Ransford was popularly known as a news anchor for the Program “AYV Krio News”.

As a fluent Krio speaker, he was skilled  in his presentation of the Krio news in his local language.

He was an household name in Sierra Leone’s contemporary Journalism.

He recently got married before succumbing to the cold hands of death.
