The Bailiff Office of the High Court of Sierra Leone sealed the administrative office of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) on a court order on Friday, June 7th, 2024.
The court’s action stems from a compensation order that the SLFA must pay to two former Leone Stars players.
The SLFA is reportedly required to pay three million dollars in compensation to Ibrahim Koroma and Samuel Barley, former Leone Stars players, after they won their match-fixing allegation case against the SLFA.
The report stated that the SLFA failed to comply with the court order, leaving the court with no choice but to seal the office.
