The Sierra Leone Bar Association (SLBA) has officially confirmed the newly elected executive committee to oversee its affairs for the corporate years 2024 to 2026.
This announcement follows the successful Conference and Annual General Meeting held in Kenema on May 17th and 18th, 2024.
The SLBA extends its gratitude to its members for their participation in the electoral process and is pleased to introduce the following individuals who have been duly elected into various offices:
Tuma Adama Jabbi (Ms.) – President
Sidikie Tommy, Esq. – Vice President
Alfred Paul Juwah, Esq. – General Secretary
Abubakarr Sidique Kamara, Esq. – Assistant General Secretary
Satto Kobba (Ms.) – Treasurer
Yoko Mahiteh Brewah (Ms.) – Assistant Treasurer
Alfred Kamanda, Esq. – Public Relations Officer
The notice states that the newly elected Executive is fully committed to upholding the objectives outlined in the SLBA’s Memorandum and Articles of Association. They call upon all members to continue their support and to uphold the principles of lawfulness and professionalism within the legal fraternity.
