Sierra Leone’s President, Julius Maada Bio has appointed the Anti-corruption commission Advisory Board to lend their guidance and knowledge for the achievement of growth in the commission.
In a recent face book post, the ACC Commissioner confirms that the appointment is in compliance with the stipulations of the Anti-corruption Act 2008.
Commissioner Ben Kaifala states, ”FULL Compliance with the stipulations of the Anti-Corruption Act 2008, HE President Brig. (Rtd.) Dr. Julius Maada Bio has appointed and Constituted Eminent Sierra Leonean personalities to the Anti-Corruption Advisory Board. They include various professions and sectors among them are: Mr. Prince Goba (Chairman), Mr. Joshua Nicol, Alhaji Oshoba Aberdeen, Mr. Kebe Kourouba, Hon. Josephine Makieu, Mr. Chernor Jalloh, and Mr. Edwin Foray Gondor.
As Commissioner, in the first meeting since their appointment, I congratulated and welcomed them as we all sinergize to move the fight against corruption tougher and fiercer in the RENEWED DIRECTION.”
An advisory board is a group of experts who lend their skills, guidance, and knowledge to an organization (corporation, nonprofit, or association). In short, an advisory board serves the purpose of its name—to offer advice that helps an organization grow and achieve its goals.
