Sierra Leone´s President, Dr Julius Maada Bio has appointed Robert Baoma Kowa Esq as Solicitor General of the Republic of Sierra Leone. H.E the President announced this appointment in a Public Notice issued out yesterday the 19th January 2022.

The New Solicitor General is an experienced Lawyer and a current PhD student with a BA in English,LLB Hons from the Fourah Bay College and LLM obtained from the University of Salford at the Manchester city  in United Kingdom and a Degree of Utter Barrister obtained from the Sierra Leone Law School.

He has served as Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public, former Chairman Income Tax Board of Appellate Commission, Commissioner, Law Reform Commission, President of the Sierra Leone Bar Association and Non-Executive Chairman of Corporate Affairs Commission.

Robert Baoma Kowa has won several awards some of which are 100 Most Outstanding Sierra Leonean 2019-2021, National Professional Award for Outstanding Leadership in 2021, award for Presentation of Registrable Instrument and the Bar Association 2021 recognition award for Dedication and Selfless Service.
