Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio and entourage have arrived in America ahead of his Public Lecture in Pennysylvania the United States of America.
The President will be delivering the 3rd Annual Distinguished Lecture in African Studies at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Africana Studies on March 25, 2024.
The event in Pennsylvania, which is to be held at the Perry World House, will provide a platform for President Bio to share his contribution to, and lessons learned in democratic governance, transformational politics and inclusive development in Africa, with a focus on the Sierra Leone experience.
This event is expected to attract a diverse audience and stimulate thought-provoking discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing Africa today.
Delivering a public lecture in America may be good, but what positive impact will that create on general populace of Sierra Leone? Traveling to many many countries in the world in every week or month is a wast of state revenue
Misplaced priority
Congratulations sir! On your new promotion as lecturer.
Just wasting the country’s resources,in the name of delivering lecture, what has such lecture would to the plate of the country , God will surely bring you Madda Bio to justice
Charities being at home, why not him lecture at the University of Sierra before moving somewhere else
