President Julius Maada Bio has assured the people of Bendu -Cha Chiefdom in Bonthe district that he is committed to ameliorating the challenges of the people in that part of the country.

“I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the support SLPP has enjoyed from you all. The New Direction government will do everything possible to provide your needs“, President Bio said.

He further appealed to the people to take advantage of the free quality education, as it is the best development that will stabilize the country. “We have to encourage the youths to get technical education. I know all the youths enjoy football games but the youths should take advantage of the free quality education and be technically skillful“, President Bio concluded.

The Paramount Chief of Bendu – Cha chiefdom PC Alfred Squire 11 expressed delight that the President decided to make his first Presidential function in 2022 by visiting his chiefdom.

“We are very grateful for your leadership.As a chiefdom, we have several challenges but the decision by the President Bio government to start with the road construction from Bendu leading to the Mattru Jong -Bo Road is the most important, and sustainable development we have ever seen”, Chief Squire said, noting that his chiefdom has benefited from the free quality education where most of the schools in the chiefdom have been approved by the Ministry of Education, and more teachers put on pay roll.

Paramount Chief Alfred Squire catalogued the social needs of BenduCha chiefdom and handed it to P.C Prince Lappia Boima to pass it over to the President on behalf of the Chiefdom people for consideration.
