Kema Kanneh, the closest female bodyguard of the First Lady of Sierra Leone, Fatima Bio has reportedly passed away today, Friday 10th February, 2023.

The bodyguard was part of the First Lady’s convoy that were involved in the fatal road accident that occurred on February 6, 2023 at the Makeni-Freetown highway.

According to reports, the bodyguard could not cope with the injuries she sustained from the road accident, and she sadly passed away at the intensive care unit in Freetown.

Responding to her closest female bodyguard death on social media, the First Lady lamented that, “Allah gives and he takes, we can not question him but this hurts badly. My hopes are shattered.”

Kama Kanneh has been always closed to the First Lady and making sure that her security was assured at all times. As loyal as she was, she was always seen either infront or immediate back of Fatima Bio.
