President Bio has commissioned the Offshore Naval Patrol Boat PB 106 that was donated by the Government and People of the Republic of China to the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF).

President Bio has named the vessel- MADAM YOKO which has once again reinforced the bounds of support and mutually beneficial relationship that exists between the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Sierra Leone respectively according to him.

The President sent a gratitude message on behalf of the people of Sierra Leone to the President of the People Republic of China, Xi Jinping.

This came as a long multilateral working relationship between both countries in working for a sustainable development at different intervals. President bio sends his warm wished for the cooperation in making progress towards resilient and sustainable development goals.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Sierra Leone, I wish to express our sincere gratitude to President Xi Jinping and Ambassador Wang Qung of China for this enduring friendship that has always been based on mutual respect, trust, and the pursuit of a shred of future.

With the support and cooperation of the people’s Republic of China, we have pursued an agenda of multilateralism, peace and stability, and cooperation in making progress towards resilient and sustainable development goal”. he noted
