Sierra Leone President, Julius Maada Bio has called on Sierra Leoneans to express compassion and unity as they celebrate Easter this 2025.

“Let us share moments of compassion and gratitude with family and friends,” Bio said on his official Facebook page on Easter Sunday.

The President joins Christians in Sierra Leone and across the world to celebrate Easter Sunday, a day that Christians believe Jesus Christ resurrected from his tomb. The holiday is marked by love and renewal of faith among Christians.

Believers of Christianity reflect on the significance of Christ’s victory over death, opening their hearts to the message of hope and peace that Easter brings. Christians across the country and the world gather with family after church and share the spirit of compassion and gratitude for the blessings of life.
