Sierra Leone President, Julius Maada Bio has called on Sierra Leoneans to express compassion and unity as they celebrate Easter this 2025.
“Let us share moments of compassion and gratitude with family and friends,” Bio said on his official Facebook page on Easter Sunday.
The President joins Christians in Sierra Leone and across the world to celebrate Easter Sunday, a day that Christians believe Jesus Christ resurrected from his tomb. The holiday is marked by love and renewal of faith among Christians.
Believers of Christianity reflect on the significance of Christ’s victory over death, opening their hearts to the message of hope and peace that Easter brings. Christians across the country and the world gather with family after church and share the spirit of compassion and gratitude for the blessings of life.
Compassion? After you have killed thousands of Sierra Leoneans, sent hundreds on exil, disadvantaged hundreds in the country over a wide range of issues it land grabbing, electoral Justice, etc. You’re not the best person to call for compassion. If I was a member of the religious council, walahi, you would have locked me up for telling you the truth and lead protects. You’re nothing but a waste of space looting our resources. You should hang yourself in shame, Burkina Faso is progressing very fast while you’re busy killing your own people. Empty skull, no brain
This man is talking about compassion does he ever show compassion to the people of mama Salon? From 2018 what compassion has he shown to the people of sierra leone rather than killing upon killing intimidating and turning the country into Drug cartel. It should have been better not to use that word.He does not even have mercy for the people of sierra leone
