President Julius Maada Bio leads the opening of the session on the school meal coalition at the on-going United Nations Food System Summit (UNFSS).
The School Meal Coalition is a driving action that can urgently re-establish, improve and scale up food, health and education systems and being one the important sessions at the summit, the event was covered and opened by the president of Sierra Leone.
In his opening remarks, president bio highlighted his country’s strong commitment to the coalition and ensuring nutritious meals for children in Sierra Leone maintaining that we can build a better and healthier greener future for generations yet to come.
The School Meal Coalition session witnessed different speakers that were determined towards improving the sustainability of food and its total security at every level.
In Sierra Leone, our School Enrolment has increased considerably in the last five years as a result of President Bio’s initiative of the Free and Quality School Education and Primary School Feeding Project. We as parents appreciate President Bio and his Development Partners for their service to humanity.
