Incumbent President Julius Maada Bio and presidential candidate of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) has lost his polling station to the opposition All People’s Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Samura Kamara.
According to provisional results at Hockey Field in Wilberforce, Freetown where President Bio voted, the APC polled the highest with 138 votes while the SLPP recorded 87 votes.
Tallying of votes is still ongoing across polling stations in Sierra Leone where elections were held Saturday in 16 districts.
Although there are eleven other presidential candidates, the election is considered a straight contest between the president and candidate of the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP), Julius Bio, and Samura Kamara, the flagbearer of the All People’s Congress (APC).
According to the electoral provisions, if no presidential candidate secures 55 per cent of valid votes cast in the first ballot, the top two candidates will slug it out in a run-off two weeks after the announcement of the first-round result.
51 vote makes the difference it is a great improvement by the SLPP in the stronghold of the APC. This is a clear manifestation that SLPP will win the election through first round votes

Where president Bio voted n lose to his opponent signifies that he will lose d entire election.
When you are honest and strict, or discipline you will have no friends. If you us people and spoon feed them and allow them to depend on your resources at the detriment of your community they will love you. I will love to get a parent or leader who loves his people and wants them to develop their own potentials and not to depend on your corrupt idea of keeping them under your resources.
